netplus.ch SA

netplus.ch SA is a Sierre-based company that provides telecommunications services on networks in the francophone Valais, Vaud and Fribourg. It offers television, landline telephony and internet access with a full range of internet connection speeds, all via a single socket.

netplus.ch is the main supplier of multimedia content in western Switzerland, and currently has over 150,000 clients.
 

Organisation and products

The company currently brings together eleven networks, which distribute and market multimedia products and services, mainly under the "net+" brand. It provides simple, effective solutions for both business and domestic users.

The members of net+ form a reliable and efficient network made up entirely of distributors from western Switzerland who are well-established in the towns and regions of the Vaud, Valais and Fribourg cantons. "This organisation enables us to play a major role in the market, while allowing each shareholder in the telecommunications network its independence", says Pierre-André Crettaz, chairman of the Board of directors of netplus.ch SA.

Client base and markets

Since it was formed in 2004, netplus.ch S.A. has continually improved its offer, adapting it to the rapid changes in the telecommunications and multimedia market. This SME now has a large number of clients:

• 142,000 clients for television
• 78,000 clients for internet
• 40,000 clients for telephony
• 200 business clients

With its operational headquarters at the Techno-Pôle in Sierre, netplus.ch SA is also ideally placed to anticipate the latest developments in digital technology. Its 30 employees (25 of whom are engineers, mainly from engineering colleges in Valais and western Switzerland) therefore benefit from all the synergies and healthy competition that accompany such a centre of excellence in ICT. Ownership of the shares in this company is shared between eleven telecommunications networks based in western Switzerland.
