In the current economic context, in which artificial intelligence (AI) is emerging as a strategic lever for companies of all sizes and sectors, The Ark Foundation and the Swiss Digital Center are announcing the launch of a call for projects. The aim is to give SMEs in Valais the necessary impetus to develop concrete projects related to AI and thus strengthen their competitiveness in a market that is becoming increasingly digitalized. The idea is also to sensitize the economic fabric to this topic with the help of workshops. Financial support of up to CHF 15,000 is planned for these new projects.

This call for projects related to AI is intended to strengthen the competitiveness of the Valais economy and ultimately promote local employment through collaboration with Valais technology providers. The rapid development of AI (especially generative AI) is in the process of completely transforming the way some companies operate, leading to significant productivity gains.

Due to their role in supporting innovation in the canton, The Ark Foundation and the Swiss Digital Center are convinced that any company, regardless of its size or sector of activity, may have an interest in implementing AI solutions, whether to facilitate its customer relations, save time on administration or even to get the most out of its data. The Ark and Swiss Digital Center are therefore launching this call for projects, which will provide concrete support to companies by identifying opportunities to work with AI. The two organizations will also accompany a wide range of concrete projects, the vast majority of which will be based on Valais technology providers. Financial support of up to CHF 15,000 will enable interested SMEs to obtain a useful solution without excessive costs.

Workshops to demystify AI

Half-day or full-day workshops are also offered to demystify AI and put concrete elements into practice. SMEs that are not yet familiar with AI and would like to expand their business using AI are invited to get in touch with The Ark Foundation or the Swiss Digital Center. They are committed to providing resources, training and technical support to facilitate the introduction of AI. In addition, networking between these actors is encouraged to promote collaboration.
