With a program that will be launched at the end of 2023, The Ark Foundation is supporting the digital transformation of Valais companies in collaboration with local IT companies. Today, digitalization is a major challenge for the development of companies, and this joint effort between The Ark and the canton’s IT players aims to provide significant support to the Valaisan economic fabric. Support of CHF 4,900 is provided for SMEs embarking on a digital transformation.
“This acceleration programme is aimed at economic players in Valais who have set themselves the goal of making better use of digitalization, whether in their internal organization, their processes or their management system,” explains Bertrand Fournier, who is in charge of the programme on behalf of The Ark.
Interested SMEs in Valais, regardless of their sector of activity, can contact The Ark to discuss their project and the opportunities offered by digitization to increase their productivity. Valais companies specializing in IT can also offer their digital solutions that can be implemented in an SME.
Optimizing the processes and productivity of SMEs
The objectives of this acceleration programme are diverse and geared towards optimizing processes and the growth of companies. For example, companies are to be supported in the transition to integrated ERP software. This type of software enables the coherent integration of all operational processes of an SME beyond pure accounting.
The introduction of digital and automated dashboards to better manage all of an SME’s processes is another example of an application supported by the program. Creating software to manage and plan transportation within a company is also possible, as is setting up a customer relationship management (CRM) system to better track customers’ orders and activities. “These are just a few concrete examples of what digitalization can do for companies in Valais. Any ideas that increase the productivity of SMEs can of course be discussed and potentially implemented thanks to our network of specialists,” says Bertrand Fournier.
CHF 4,900 per project
As part of this acceleration programme, The Ark Foundation helps companies to formalize and identify their exact needs. If not already done, it helps SMEs to identify the right implementation partner. In addition to this proactive support, financial assistance of CHF 4,900 is made available to companies embarking on a concrete project.
