Waste treatment and recovery

One of the pillars of CIMO's activity is industrial waste treatment. The company exploits the full potential of liquid waste treatment and recovery through incineration, oxidation or biodegradable treatment. This expertise is accompanied by rigorous control of the recycling of industrial flows and waste.

The wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), equipped with a sludge furnace, enables the efficient treatment of biodegradable liquid waste generated by industrial activity. This strategic activity contributes directly to the sustainability of the Monthey industrial site and responds to the current challenges of the circular economy.

A state-of-the-art laboratory

CIMO's laboratory is another major asset of the company. Equipped with the latest generation of equipment, it offers a comprehensive consulting and analysis service enabling customers to comply with the quality criteria set by the legislator: OPair (Ordinance on Air Pollution Control), OEaux (Ordinance on Water Protection), Osites, OSol, Ohyg, etc.

The services cover the entire process, from sampling to the delivery of the analysis report. CIMO also has measuring instruments for continuous analysis, ensuring a permanent overview of the environmental situation. In particular, CIMO continuously monitors the quality of the water at the chemical site, which is treated and then discharged into the Rhône, in accordance with the authorisations issued by the State of Valais.

Occupational medicine and safety

CIMO's medical service specialises in occupational medicine and offers tailor-made services to maintain the highest level of physical, social and mental well-being for employees in the workplace. This preventive approach contributes to the health and performance of client companies.

In terms of safety, CIMO stands out as the only professional fire brigade in Valais officially recognised by the ASSPP (Swiss Association of Professional Firefighters). The company offers a comprehensive range of services: tailor-made training in fire and ABC (atomic, biological and chemical) risks, fit testing, inspection and rental of protective equipment and devices.

Engineering and industrial maintenance

CIMO also supports its customers in the implementation of industrial projects through its engineering department. Professionals in electrical and mechanical engineering, CAD (computer-aided design) support, coordination and inspection work on new installations, modifications or maintenance of existing equipment.

The construction department provides services in the fields of piping, handling, scaffolding, insulation, locksmithing and boilermaking, whether for the development of new infrastructure or the extension of existing capacity.
